Outpatient Treatment Programs

Located in both beautiful Fort Myers and Naples, Florida, our facilities boast a calm and serene environment. With the guidance of addiction specialists at Nextep, clients can return to living normal, content lives that are free of substance abuse.

We will diligently work with each patient in order to motivate them by positive reinforcement, promoting a powerful skill-set and teaching trigger management so that patients will have a less-likely chance of future relapse.

Drug & Alcohol Treatment

Drug addiction treatment works to treat a user’s substance abuse problem through proven rehabilitation techniques. For those who are addicted to drugs or alcohol, treatment and recovery can only be completed successfully when that individual admits that they have a problem. Once they admit that they have an addiction issue, they are already in the mindset that they need help. A treatment program can help addicts recover from their addiction so that they can begin to lead productive, content, and fulfilled lives. Drug treatment is not a one-size-fits-all approach. Instead, treatment programs and plans are tailored to each unique case. There are a number of treatment options available for patients to choose from.

High Intensity Outpatient (HIO)

Full time day treatment program serves as an excellent transition from or an alternative to a residential program.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

While living in a nearby sober living home, clients attend IOP treatment 3 days per week. A treatment program can help addicts recover from their addiction so that they can begin to lead productive, content, and fulfilled lives. Drug treatment is not a one-size-fits-all approach. Instead, treatment programs and plans are tailored to each unique case. There are a number of treatment options available for patients to choose from.

Outpatient Program

We understand that sometimes it isn’t practical to stay onsite at our patient residences. That is why we offer outpatient services to aid in your recovery every step of the way. We provide hands-on treatment in our office and all of the education you can bring home with you to help you take an active role in your treatment and outpatient recovery.

Mental Health Treatment

At Nextep, we believe that your chances for a real, long-term recovery are increased dramatically when you have support from professionals and peers within an established community.

Medication Assisted Treatment

Nextep is a MAT provider and uses Naltrexone, Vivitrol, Suboxone, Campral and Antabuse. Nextep also provides housing to residents who are following a Medication Assisted Treatment plan of care that is directed by a licensed healthcare provider.

To treat addiction fully and with lasting results, use all of the resources available to you. At Nextep in Ft. Myers, Florida, Experiential Therapy is just one of the therapies used in treating clients.

An addict who is seeking treatment will not have to go through all of these programs. A counselor will guide you toward the right options for your addiction through an assessment in order to determine which program you would benefit from the most. Treatment involves a series of various intense phases such as an initial patient assessment, a treatment program, planning, and counseling, both during treatment and after treatment.

Addiction treatment programs can last different amounts of time depending on the severity of the patient’s addiction and personal goals. Drug treatment is designed to assist addicts in stopping their compulsive desire to use drugs. Since drug addiction is a chronic disorder that makes addicts prone to relapse, it is not uncommon for individuals to need continuing care in order to make a full recovery. This could mean attending individual and group sessions while residing in one of our recovery residences after their initial program is complete or attending an ongoing relapse prevention program in our offices. Recovery is not easy and the journey will come with its ups and downs. This is all completely normal. With the right treatment program in place and compassionate addiction counselor by your side supporting you each step of the way, recovery is attainable.

We engage clients in several different experiential programs including: boating, kayaking, equine therapy, ropes course and art therapy.
Nextep is a MAT provider and uses Naltrexone, Vivitrol, Suboxone, Campral and Antabuse. Nextep also provides housing to residents who are following a Medication Assisted Treatment plan of care that is directed by a licensed healthcare provider.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is the practice of helping someone’s trauma through sporadic visual stimulation.

In addition to outpatient services, we also offer sober living homes where patients from Fort Myers, FL, and the surrounding areas can recover on location at our drug rehab center and alcohol rehab center. All of our programs are centered around mental health care as the defining point of every recovery journey. Our certified recovery homes are conveniently located near to bus routes, employment, as well as 12 step meetings. We are proud to provide safe homes where our patients can recovery with support and dignity.
